Self-custody Bitcoin wallet built with Flutter
Nusa is a self-custody Bitcoin wallet I built with Flutter. It's inspired by Nusantara culture and focuses on keeping your Bitcoin secure and private. You control your keys, not some company.
The app has a simple interface that works for both beginners and experienced users. It uses BIP39 for key generation and supports hardware wallets for extra security.
I built it with Flutter so it works on both Android and iOS. The goal was to make a wallet that's easy to use but still secure.
This is a working wallet where I've done real Bitcoin transactions. You can see the actual satoshis being moved between addresses - it's all verifiable on the blockchain.
I want to make Nusa a complete Bitcoin ecosystem. Users should be able to buy and sell Bitcoin easily, send money between addresses, and use it for everyday purchases. I'm also thinking about adding POS functionality for local businesses and maybe debit card integration later.
I got interested in Bitcoin after talking with friends in my local community. The moment that changed everything was when I received my first satoshis through my Aqua wallet. That got me curious about how Bitcoin wallets work, so I started learning about security, DeFi, and CeFi. Eventually, I decided to build my own wallet instead of just using others.
